An ultra seductive and well-documented Dolce & Gabbana silver studded black leather mini dress dating back to their 1991 spring/summer collection. The beautiful supermodel Gail Elliott wore this look down the runway. Dolce & Gabbana are considered the inventors of a Mediterranean style that draws its inspiration from women of Italian realism, sensual and austere like Anna Magnani, to whom they dedicated a collection whose key element was the 1940's slip. They are not looking for a retro look; Dolce & Gabbana turned to the past for innovation. The designers once stated, "We want to use the past to project it into the future". This little chic mini dress is a wonderful example of their aesthetic. The fabric itself is sensational; fully lined, silver studded butter soft rich black leather that hugs the body perfectly. The low-cut plunge thin strap bodice works perfectly with the mini length. One of the hottest Dolce & Gabbana dresses we have ever seen!

This early 1991 Dolce and Gabbana designer dress is in beautiful condition with no rips, alterations or holes. All silver studs in place. Only sign of age are a few very faint surface marks to the butter soft leather which are not noticeable when worn. Please message for detailed pictures. A wonderful, well-documented investment piece that will only increase in value.
